  We just purchased a beautiful coffee table about a week ago. They delivered it to our home promptly. The entire experience was great from the point that we walked into the store and to the time that it was delivered. The sales person was very helpful and not pushy. The item that we purchased was much less than other stores that we had looked at. Ashley furniture store kept in contact with us about the delivery time and date so it was not stressful for us to have to wonder when they would show up.   I had a great experience while shopping for my furniture. Intended on going in for just a bedroom suit but ended up purchasing a sofa as well and I will go back later and purchase the bedroom suit I want for myself. Overall wonderful experience the store is clean and well lit and just awesome. The staff are warm and welcoming. The only issue I had was the delivery service... Asked for a late afternoon or evening do to already prior scheduled activity. The first delivery of the day!! Did not make me real happy as I had to miss what I was supposed to be doing that morning.

  The salesperson who helped us the night we purchased our couch and chair was very nice, but DO NOT buy any of the home decor direct ship items. We placed an order for some art work in November 2017 and have yet to receive it as of February 2018! Every time my wife and I have called to check on the status of the order we are told that they have no way of tracking a direct ship item in a "sorry about your luck" tone. I have reminded them that they are responsible for the items that they sell in their store and are not absolved of the responsibility of ensuring that a customer receives what they have purchased from them. I have been given every kind of explanation, from a long-winded story from a manager about how it ships from Canada and they shut down for the holidays for several weeks to "Well, we have a lot of trouble with the direct ship items." On top of that, we finally got a tracking number and although I understand they don't control UPS the shipment was damaged half way to us and was sent back to the shipper. We called today to find out when we will get our wall art and no one at the store in Mt. Juliet where we bought it can tell us anything. Their canned response to all our questions is always "Let me call purchasing". Today instead of offering to call us back with any information they told us "They don't call people back but you can call us back on Monday and see if we have heard anything". Since we have already been billed for this and have not received our merchandise (3 months later) the next step is to call the credit card company and dispute the charge. Seriously..... this has been beyond ridiculous. I have told everyone I know to stay away from this store. There are a few nice people there and if you're lucky you might get the item you want but if there is ANY problem at all the people there are not equipped to handle it and you will be VERY disappointed.
